Jacob Rowland, PA

NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant

Jacob Rowland graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, including a focus on clinical exercise physiology. Jacob went on to earn a master’s degree physicians assistant studies from Christian Brothers University in 2016. In July, he earned his certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

While completing his undergraduate at MSU, Jacob interned with Starkville Internal Medicine. The New Albany native describes himself as a hands-on person, from his history of playing sports to his hobby of woodworking. While interning at Starkville Internal Medicine during his undergraduate at MSU, Jacob found the same hands-on appeal to sports medicine and orthopaedics.

After completing his master’s degree in Memphis, Jacob said it was refreshing to return to North Mississippi. There’s no substitute for the way people treat you in Tupelo, and Jacob extends the same care in diagnosing and treating his patients.
